HALDE on French national TV with a series of short programmes "Flagrants délits"

The French equality body produced a series of 10 short videos which portray everyday life situations and how discrimination can affect someone' s life. The 'Flagrants délits' short movies, which are based on real life claims, are currently broadcasted on France3, a French national TV channel.

The HALDE’s objective is to stress that discrimination is illegal and raise awareness of citizens’ rights. Furthermore, the French equality body aims to explain to how to prevent discriminatory practices. This Equinet member organisation will develop several awareness and information campaigns by the end of the year. For instance, some field actions will soon take place in Paris and Bordeaux to reach the general public.
