The International Federation of Journalists, Internews Europe, and the Media Diversity Institute are conducting a Study on Media and Diversity, on behalf of the DG Employment's Anti-discrimination Unit of the European Commission. The study has identified initiatives by, or about, the media that counter discrimination and promote diversity, throughout 30 European countries. To discuss the results and recommendations of the report, a special seminar will be held in Prague on February 5th and 6th 2009. Equinet and three equality bodies of their network have been invited to attend the seminar which will validate the conclusions of the study prior to its publication.
